YUKONBUILDERS & DEVELOPERS

Capabilities

Five disciplines under one management — with the plant, laboratory and survey capability to self-perform the critical path rather than sub-let it.

Buildings

High-rise residential blocks, army public schools, messes, mosques, commercial plazas and institutional buildings — complete structure through to finishing works and external services.

  • Basement + G+13 residential towers with basement parking
  • Schools, dormitories and administration blocks
  • Airport terminal building extension works
  • Restaurants, retail fit-out and renovation works
  • Complete finishing, external services and site development

Highways & interchanges

Motorway sections, interchanges, slip and transition lanes, underpasses, U-turns and rigid pavement works for the country's principal motorway operators.

  • Interchanges with slip, transition and extension lanes
  • Underpasses and U-turns on live carriageways
  • Rigid pavement, base and sub-base construction
  • Embankment formation, improved sub-grade and compaction
  • Toll plazas, weigh stations and allied structures

Bridges & structures

Multi-span river bridges, flyovers, box culverts, retaining walls and rock-fall shelters, including work at remote and access-restricted sites.

  • Multi-span river and nullah bridges up to 480 m
  • Flyovers and grade-separated crossings
  • Box culverts, RCC side drains and retaining walls
  • Rock-fall shelters and slide shelters in mountain terrain
  • Bridge works executed at risk and cost on left-over packages

Safety and quality

Much of our work is on live carriageways, in mountain terrain and inside restricted defence installations. Method statements and site control are agreed with the client's engineer before work starts, and audited throughout.

  • Site control

Each project is run by a named project manager and construction manager reporting to a chief engineer with more than three decades of experience.

  • Material testing

Our own laboratory equipment and survey sets keep field testing, material analysis and setting-out under our direct control rather than sub-let.

  • Working under restriction

Remote sites, security constraints and restricted working windows are a normal part of our record. FWO recognised our safety and quality standards on the M-8 motorway on exactly those grounds.

  • Documentation

Safety policy, method statements, quality plans and inspection and test plans are issued to the client's engineer for each contract and are available on request.

If your package sits across more than one of these disciplines, that is usually where we are most useful.
